1992 Seminar Conservation of Archeological Textiles Mills College, Oakland, CA - two week intensive - with Leslie Smith, conservator ~ historical lectures ~ hands-on care/mounting of Mills College collection

1987 Employment Oriental rug and textile restoration with Joann Kempf, San Francisco ~ full year training in oriental rug and pictorial tapestry repair

1983 Apprenticeship Gobelin tapestry technique with Ruth Scheuer, Scheuer Tapestry Studio, NYC ~ head dyer/weaver on large-scale commissions
